Fitter Technician
As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various mechanical components and equipment. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and repairing machinery in our production facility in Vianden. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure efficient operation of all equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read technical drawings. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery as needed
- Collaborate with engineering team to implement improvements to equipment
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools needed for repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as required
