Dishwasher

We are a busy restaurant located in Nakuru, seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. This is a contract position with possible visa sponsorship for foreigners. No English language skills are required for this job.

As a Dishwasher, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment used in our restaurant. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of dishes and maintain an organized and clean work area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, sanitize, and stack dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, etc.
- Operate the dishwasher machine and hand-wash items as needed
- Empty trash bins and keep the kitchen area clean and tidy at all times
- Clean kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, stovetops, etc.
- Assist with basic food preparation as directed by the chef or kitchen staff
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations

Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to learn basic food preparation techniques
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 25 lbs)
- Positive attitude and willingness to take direction from superiors

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.
