Solar Installer

A solar installer is responsible for installing and maintaining solar energy systems on homes and buildings. This is a physically demanding job that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of solar technology and be able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain solar panels, inverters, and other equipment on rooftops and other structures
- Ensure proper placement and alignment of equipment for maximum energy efficiency
- Connect wiring to inverters and electrical panels to ensure proper functioning of the system
- Troubleshoot any issues with the system and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on rooftops or in other elevated areas
- Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance work done

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in construction or electrical work is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of solar technology and renewable energy principles
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
