Executive Chef - Nepali/Kenyan Cuisine (Medina, Saudi Arabia)
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef with a passion for Nepali and Kenyan cuisine to join our team in Medina, Saudi Arabia. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating menus, and training the kitchen staff. Your creativity and knowledge of authentic Nepali and Kenyan dishes will be key in ensuring high-quality and delicious meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create unique menus featuring authentic Nepali and Kenyan dishes
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and service
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef with a focus on Nepali/Kenyan cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Nepali/Kenyan ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
