Industrial Architect - Washington DC, USA


We are currently seeking a talented Industrial Architect to join our team in Washington DC. As an Industrial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of industrial buildings and facilities. This position requires a high level of creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural designs for industrial buildings and facilities
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to ensure designs are structurally sound and feasible
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project status
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial architecture
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on industrial projects in Washington DC or the surrounding area
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Experience managing projects from concept to completion

Compensation:
Salary for this position starts at $1400 per month. In addition to salary, we offer benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.

Location:
This position is based in Washington DC but may require occasional travel to project sites within the surrounding area.

Contract Type:
This is a full-time contract position with the possibility for extension or permanent employment based on performance.
