Turner - Skilled Machinist


We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our growing team in Lahore. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machine tools to perform precision machining operations on metal components. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain manual and computer-controlled machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses
- Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to determine machining requirements
- Set up machines, select appropriate tools, and adjust machine settings to achieve the desired dimensions and finishes of machined parts
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, surface finish, and defects
- Troubleshoot issues with machines or tooling as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role in a manufacturing setting
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
- Proficient in the use of manual and computer-controlled machine tools
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if needed

Salary: 1100$ per month

Location: Lahore (without accommodation)
