Job Title: Restaurant Manager - Lisbon, Portugal
As a Restaurant Manager in our fast-paced and bustling environment, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant in Lisbon. Your main duties will include managing staff, ensuring the highest level of customer service, and maintaining financial control. You will be expected to lead by example and provide exceptional leadership to your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Create schedules, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Train new employees on policies, procedures, and company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and safety throughout the restaurant
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism
- Collaborate with other managers to improve processes and achieve business goals
- Adhere to all health code regulations and ensure compliance from staff members
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and basic accounting principles
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have a valid work visa for Portugal (free visa provided if necessary)
Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)
