Computer Support Specialist

We are hiring a skilled Computer Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our clients in Acre, India. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of computer systems and networks, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. The role will involve installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues for clients, both remotely and in-person. The candidate should also have experience with customer service and be able to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users. This is a contract position with accommodation provided, along with a free visa and ticket for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both remotely and in-person
- Provide technical assistance to clients via phone, email or in-person
- Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
- Set up accounts for new users and manage user access privileges
- Perform regular backups of data and ensure data security protocols are followed
- Maintain inventory of equipment and software licenses
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Computer Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems (Windows/Mac OS), networks (LAN/WAN), printers, scanners, etc.
- Experience with remote desktop applications (TeamViewer)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with customer service principles
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users
- Experience with data backup protocols and procedures
- Knowledge of data security protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary: 1100$ per month
