Carpenter (Braga, Portugal)



As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing and maintaining wooden structures and fixtures. Your main goal will be to provide high-quality craftsmanship in a timely manner while following safety and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the materials required for a project
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using specialized tools
- Cut, shape and join materials according to specifications using hand or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, etc.
- Inspect work for quality and accuracy while ensuring it meets building codes and safety standards
- Repair or replace damaged or rotting structures/components
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols on job site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Proficient in using power tools such as saws, drills, etc.
- Good understanding of wood properties and other carpentry materials
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job including lifting heavy materials
- Attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination
- Team player with excellent communication skills

Salary: $900 per month

Location: Braga, Portugal

Experience Required: Prior experience in carpentry is required.
