Senior Information Security Analyst

We are hiring a Senior Information Security Analyst for our company in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data. You will work closely with the IT team to identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them. The ideal candidate should have experience in information security, strong technical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends
- Conduct training sessions for employees on information security best practices
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and applications
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools
- Strong understanding of encryption methods
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with cloud computing environments
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA)

This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. Accommodation will not be provided. Candidates must have a biometric passport for verification purposes.
