Experienced Turner in Los Angeles, USA

We are hiring an experienced Turner to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to shape metal parts to precise dimensions. You should have previous experience working as a Turner and be able to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines such as lathes, drills, grinders, and milling machines to shape metal parts
- Read blueprints and follow technical drawings to ensure accurate measurements
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check dimensions
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain machinery by performing regular maintenance tasks
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Turner in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring tools accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills

Preferred:
- Experience working with CNC machines is a plus
- Prior experience working with different types of metals
- Familiarity with ISO standards

Salary: $1000 per month
