Job Title: Metal Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team in Bergen. As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for using specialized tools and equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts to create a variety of structures and products. You will work with a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, copper, and brass, using techniques such as welding, bending, and soldering.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces for cutting and shaping
- Operate specialized tools such as shears, plasma cutters, grinders, and drills to cut and shape metal
- Join metal pieces together using welding techniques such as MIG or TIG welding
- Use bending machines or hand tools to bend metal into desired shapes
- Solder or braze pieces together to create a strong bond
- Inspect finished products for quality control purposes
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabrication Specialist or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of different types of metal and their properties
- Familiarity with various cutting, shaping, and welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings accurately
- Proficient in using specialized tools and equipment
- Physical dexterity and strength to handle heavy materials
- Attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
$1300 per month
