Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Specialist to join our team in Eldoret. As a specialist in power systems, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems that are essential for the operation of various facilities and equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of electricity within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for various facilities and equipment
- Conduct thorough research to stay updated on the latest developments in power systems technology
- Analyze data and perform calculations to determine the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for power distribution
- Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure successful implementation of electrical systems
- Monitor the performance of electrical systems and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations
- Prepare detailed reports on projects, including cost estimates and progress updates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably with a focus on power systems
- Extensive knowledge of power distribution principles, equipment, and software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary package of 1000$ per month for this position.
City:
This position is based in Eldoret, Kenya.
Preference:
This position is open to all nationalities. However, preference will be given to Indian candidates.
