Livestock Specialist
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates


We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Livestock Specialist to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in livestock management and a passion for working with animals.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the health and well-being of all livestock on the farm
- Develop and implement nutrition plans to ensure optimal growth and productivity
- Monitor herd/flock performance and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all livestock, including breeding and health records
- Work closely with veterinarians to ensure proper care and treatment of animals
- Train and supervise farm workers in proper handling and care of livestock
- Monitor market trends to make informed decisions about buying/selling animals
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working with livestock, preferably in a management role
- Knowledge of animal nutrition, breeding, health care, and production systems
- Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions when necessary
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English proficiency is preferred)
- Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, as needed

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.
