Head Chef - Pakistani Cuisine (Eldoret)


We are seeking an experienced Head Chef with a passion for Pakistani cuisine to join our team in Eldoret. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu that showcases the rich and diverse flavors of Pakistani cuisine. You will also oversee the kitchen operations, manage inventory, and ensure food quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and authentic Pakistani dishes for our restaurant menu
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and recipes
- Control inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure freshness of ingredients
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and flavor
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items based on customer feedback and trends
- Manage kitchen budget, including cost control measures, to maximize profitability

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a Pakistani restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of Pakistani cuisine including traditional cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Preferred qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field
- Experience working abroad or with international cuisines
- Knowledge of Urdu language is an added advantage

Salary: 1000$ per month
