Turner - Metal Machinist



We are hiring a skilled Turner, also known as a Metal Machinist, to join our team in Mombasa. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metalworking machines to produce precision parts and components. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining operations
- Set up and operate manual and CNC lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other metalworking equipment
- Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy of parts
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished parts for quality control
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Turner or Metal Machinist preferred but not required
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with operating manual and CNC metalworking machines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if needed
