Fitter Technician


We are seeking a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery. This is an urgent job opportunity with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install and assemble mechanical equipment according to blueprints and technical specifications
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Repair or replace damaged or worn parts using hand and power tools
- Test equipment after repairs or maintenance to ensure proper operation
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in mechanical engineering preferred
- Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hand and power tools used in mechanical work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
