Junior Android Developer


We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Android Developer to join our growing team in Kaunas. As a Junior Android Developer, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and develop cutting-edge mobile applications. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of 1700$.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality Android applications
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the Android development field
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Assist in planning, estimating, and executing development tasks within assigned timelines
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance overall team efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of Java and object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Git
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile devices
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing native Android applications (personal projects or professional experience)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of Kotlin programming language
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
