Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy construction equipment to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials. You must have a valid excavator operator license and at least 2 years of experience in operating excavators. You should be able to work independently and have excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other designated areas
- Move earth or other materials to designated locations
- Load and unload materials onto trucks or other equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Complete assigned tasks within given deadlines

Requirements:
- Valid excavator operator license
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators
- Ability to work independently and make decisions based on job requirements
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in a construction setting
- Physical stamina to operate heavy equipment for extended periods of time
- Fluent in Urdu or Punjabi (preferred)
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
