Indian Chef
We are seeking an experienced and talented Indian Chef to join our team in Siauliai. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating authentic and delicious Indian dishes, while managing the kitchen and ensuring high-quality meals are consistently delivered to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Create traditional and modern Indian dishes according to menu specifications
- Manage inventory and food costs, ensuring ingredients are fresh and properly stored
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop new menu items or specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, following sanitation guidelines at all times
- Ensure timely preparation of food orders, maintaining high standards of presentation
- Monitor portion control to minimize food waste
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or Sous Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including spices, herbs, cooking techniques, and regional variations
- Ability to create unique and flavorful dishes while also following traditional recipes
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Salary: $1500 per month
