Job Title: Typesetter



As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images to create visually appealing and easy-to-read documents. Your attention to detail and strong eye for design will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of all printed materials. This is a contract position located in Mauren, with a salary of 1800$.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize software programs to format text, images, and layouts according to established guidelines
- Proofread and edit documents for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to ensure the overall quality of the final product
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure proper alignment, font type, size, and spacing
- Maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting tight deadlines
- Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements in typesetting

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a typesetter or in a similar role required
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography principles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Familiarity with printing processes
