We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's network and computer systems. This includes designing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure and server systems.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, maintain and upgrade network infrastructure and computer systems
- Monitor network performance to ensure availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
- Perform routine maintenance on servers and other hardware equipment
- Analyze system logs to identify potential issues or improvements
- Install and configure software applications as needed
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are in place
- Collaborate with IT team members to develop solutions for complex technical issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in network administration or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer networks, protocols, and security standards (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux) and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios or SolarWinds is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
