We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Os, Norway. As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's computer network and systems. You will ensure that our network is secure, efficient, and reliable by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing upgrades. Your role will also involve providing technical support to employees and managing system backups.

To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of network protocols, server administration, and security measures. You must also have experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, as well as virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues
- Install and maintain network hardware and software
- Implement upgrades to improve efficiency and security
- Perform regular backups of systems data
- Provide technical support to employees on hardware and software issues
- Create and maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with new technology developments related to networking

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Prior experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP), server administration (Windows/Linux), virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python/PowerShell) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently

Salary: 1200$ per month
