Typesetter

We are in search of a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Shan, India. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Typeset documents and publications using various software programs
- Format text, images, and other design elements according to specific guidelines
- Proofread documents for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure all content is properly typeset
- Manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- Communicate with clients and address any issues or concerns regarding typesetting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Typesetter, preferably in the publishing industry
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop
- Knowledge of typography and layout design principles
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Fluency in English

This is a contract position that may lead to a full-time role for the right candidate. Applicants must have their own visa or be eligible for work authorization in India.
