Instrument Technician
Our company is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Karachi. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month and includes accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermocouples, flow meters, and level transmitters.
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings.
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with control systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Document all work performed in maintenance logs.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician.
- Knowledge of different types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity for working with small parts.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Instrumentation Technology or a related field.
- Experience working in the oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of PLC programming.
