Merchandising Coordinator (Braga, Portugal)


Our rapidly growing retail company is in need of a dedicated and organized Merchandising Coordinator to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing merchandising strategies to drive sales and improve customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising plans and strategies to increase sales and improve customer experience
- Collaborate with buyers and vendors to select products for display and promotions
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions about product placement
- Ensure that visual displays are attractive, organized, and in line with brand guidelines
- Train and supervise merchandisers to ensure they are following company standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail merchandising or related field
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with retail software a plus
- Must have a valid biometric passport
