Executive Chef
We are in search of a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Vilnius. Our ideal candidate will be an Indian national with extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations and ensure the smooth running of the restaurant kitchen
- Create menus and develop new dishes, while also maintaining the quality and consistency of existing dishes
- Train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions if necessary
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events and catering services
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the menu offerings
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine is a must
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be an Indian national with valid work authorization for Lithuania
