Experienced Turner for Contract Position in Nakuru, Kenya



We are seeking a skilled Turner to fill a contract position in our workshop in Nakuru, Kenya. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working as a Turner and must be fluent in English. As this is a contract position, the selected candidate will not be required to have any previous work experience.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Operate manual and computer-controlled machinery to produce precision metal components
- Use various tools such as lathes, drills, grinders, and saws to shape and finish metal pieces
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance and repairs
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or in a similar role
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of various metalworking tools and machines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
The salary for this role is $1000 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Nakuru, Kenya. Preference will be given to Indian nationals who are willing to relocate.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. However, there may be potential for extension depending on performance and company needs.
