Head Chef
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a skilled and creative Head Chef to join our team in the vibrant city of Jerusalem. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing a team of kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create new and innovative dishes while also maintaining high standards for traditional dishes
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation
- Manage inventory levels and ensure all ingredients are fresh and rotated properly
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operation
- Collaborate with management to develop new menus and specials
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Proficient in menu planning, budgeting, and inventory management
- Passion for creating unique culinary experiences using fresh, local ingredients
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
Salary: $1000/month.
