Librarian


We are seeking a Librarian for our library in El-Ain, Egypt. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, organizing and cataloging materials, assisting patrons with research needs, and promoting library programs and services.

The ideal candidate will be an Indian national with a passion for books and knowledge. This position is open to those without previous experience, as training will be provided. Fluency in English is not required for this role.

As this is an urgent position, we are offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month along with a free visa and ticket to Egypt. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of librarianship while immersing themselves in Egyptian culture.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection by selecting, acquiring, organizing and maintaining materials
- Catalogue new materials using the library's system
- Assist patrons with research needs and provide reference services
- Promote library programs and services through various channels
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy of records
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the library space
- Train volunteers or assistants on proper procedures and policies

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- No previous experience required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for books and learning
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (preferred)
