Dietitian - Nutritionist


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietitian - Nutritionist to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Dietitian - Nutritionist, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to individuals and groups, developing personalized meal plans, and monitoring the progress of clients towards their nutritional goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and create individualized meal plans based on clients' health needs and dietary preferences.
- Educate clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and food choices that align with their health goals.
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to clients in implementing lifestyle changes for improved health outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients with complex medical conditions.
- Stay current with research and developments in the field of nutrition to provide evidence-based recommendations to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dietitian - Nutritionist, preferably in a clinical or community setting.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of food science, human physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
