Plasterboard Worker

We are seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Mauren. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard walls, ceilings, and partitions. You must have at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry and possess a strong understanding of different plastering techniques. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work efficiently and have good physical strength. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month. Accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must have their own housing arrangements. This job is suitable for Malayalees, Filipinos, and English-speaking individuals looking for long-term employment opportunities. Students with relevant experience are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard according to specifications
- Install and secure plasterboard panels onto walls and ceilings
- Fill joints, holes, and cracks with joint compound
- Smooth out surfaces using trowels or sandpaper
- Apply texture or decorative finishes as required
- Repair damaged plasterboard by replacing or patching sections
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Plasterboard Worker in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of different plastering techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Good physical strength and ability to work on ladders or scaffolding
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills in English (Malayalam or Filipino language skills are a plus)
- Must have own transportation to job sites
