DevOps Developer

As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and processes necessary for the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software. You will work closely with development teams to ensure a smooth and efficient software development lifecycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting system issues and implementing solutions to improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient and effective software development practices
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability
- Implement security measures to protect systems from potential threats
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes to increase efficiency
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Experience with automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL or MongoDB
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana

Location: Funchal, Portugal (No accommodation provided)

Salary: $1700 USD/month (Negotiable based on experience)
