Fitter - Maintenance Technician


As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all machinery and equipment in our facility in Atlanta. You will use your expertise as a Fitter to perform regular maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise, and keep detailed records of all work done. This position requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical issues that arise
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance work performed, including parts used and repairs made
- Coordinate with production staff to schedule maintenance tasks without disrupting operations
- Identify potential issues before they become major problems and take preventative measures
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and regulations
- Keep inventory of spare parts and request replacements as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficient in reading technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong mechanical skills with knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Ability to use tools such as drills, saws, grinders, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Biometric passport preferred but not required

Salary:
Compensation for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Atlanta.

Work Hours:
This is a full-time position with regular working hours from Monday-Friday. Some flexibility may be required in case of emergencies or urgent repairs.
