Carpenter Assistant



We are hiring a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team in Porto. As a Carpenter Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced carpenters to assist with various tasks related to construction and woodworking projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and shaping wood and other materials
- Operate power tools and hand tools under the guidance of experienced carpenters
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed on job sites
- Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment
- Help load and unload materials at job sites
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors
- Learn new skills and techniques from experienced carpenters

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Basic understanding of construction principles and techniques
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects on job sites
- Willingness to learn new skills from experienced carpenters
- Attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately

Salary: $1100 per month

This is a contract position without experience required. However, preference will be given to candidates who have some basic knowledge or experience in carpentry or construction. Applicants must have their own valid visa for working in Porto. This position is open to all nationalities.
