Typesetter for Arabic-English Publishing Company in Akron

We are currently hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our Arabic-English publishing company located in Akron. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images into a visually appealing layout for publication. This is a contract position and no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Typeset text and images according to the company's style and design guidelines
- Work closely with editors, designers, and printers to ensure high-quality final products
- Review and proofread layouts before final publication
- Make necessary adjustments to layout based on feedback from team members
- Ensure accuracy of text, font, spacing, and overall design
- Collaborate with team members to meet strict deadlines

Requirements:
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Knowledge of Arabic typography and typesetting rules
- Attention to detail with a keen eye for visual composition
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
