Job Title: Typesetter for Indian English Newspaper in Akron



We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team at an Indian English newspaper in Akron. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and other elements to create visually appealing and readable pages for our newspaper.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Setting up and formatting newspaper articles, advertisements, and other content using computer software
- Ensuring all text, images, and graphics are aligned correctly and following the newspaper's style guidelines
- Collaborating with editors and designers to ensure visual consistency and quality of the newspaper's layout
- Proofreading content for spelling and grammar errors before final publication
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Previous experience with typesetting or graphic design is preferred.

This is a part-time position with the option for full-time in the future. The salary for this role is 1700$, with accommodation provided if needed. We welcome candidates of all levels of experience who are fluent in English.
