Livestock Specialist


We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Livestock Specialist to join our team in Riyadh. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and management of livestock, including feeding, breeding, and health maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal husbandry and a degree in veterinary science or a related field. This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$, and it is open to Nepali candidates who are fluent in English and have their own visa. Accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must have their own housing arrangements. This is an urgent position that requires someone with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for livestock, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health
- Develop and implement breeding programs to improve the quality of livestock
- Maintain accurate records of animal health, breeding, and production performance
- Monitor feed intake and ensure proper nutrition for all animals
- Identify and treat common illnesses and injuries in livestock
- Assist with the transportation of livestock as needed
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices for animal care

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in veterinary science or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with livestock, preferably in a commercial setting
- Knowledge of animal husbandry techniques, nutrition requirements, and herd management practices
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have own visa for Saudi Arabia
