Crane Operator

A reputable construction company in Nairobi is seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes on construction sites. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month. We welcome applications from Indian nationals and offer visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and control cranes safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cranes to ensure they are in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries
- Communicate with team members to coordinate movements of materials using the crane
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust crane operations accordingly
- Keep accurate records of daily work activities, including hours worked, materials moved, and any incidents or issues that arise
- Report any mechanical or safety issues with the crane immediately to the supervisor

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating cranes on construction sites
- Valid crane operator certification/license
- Ability to read blueprints and understand load charts
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
