Milling Machine Operator


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Malindi. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts and components from various materials. Your main duties will include reading and interpreting blueprints, adjusting machine settings, inspecting finished products for quality control, and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in operating milling machines, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and depth of cut
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality control
- Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth production flow
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments
- Follow safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines
- Knowledge of machine shop practices and measuring tools (e.g. calipers, micrometers)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
- Good communication skills (English proficiency preferred but not required)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1800 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Malindi.

Note: This job is open to all nationalities. However, preference will be given to Indian candidates who are already living or willing to relocate to Malindi. This is a full-time position but part-time opportunities may also be available for qualified candidates. No English proficiency is required for this job.
