Milling Machine Operator
Location: Malindi, Kenya


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Malindi. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. You will also be required to monitor the machines for any issues or malfunctions and make adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Set up milling machines by installing and adjusting cutting tools, attachments, and work pieces
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for milling operations
- Operate the milling machine to cut, shape, or form metal work pieces to specified dimensions
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery such as cleaning, lubricating, or replacing worn parts
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Experience reading engineering drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Basic math skills including fractions and decimals
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
