Network and Systems Administrator

We are in need of a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Braga. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in managing and maintaining computer networks, systems, and servers. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our company's network infrastructure, troubleshooting any issues that arise, and implementing necessary upgrades or changes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers
- Monitor network performance and security to ensure maximum uptime
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution
- Implement necessary upgrades or changes to improve network efficiency
- Create and maintain documentation on network configurations and procedures
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (e.g. BGP), VPN technologies, firewalls, and security protocols
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with technical teams as well as non-technical stakeholders

We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this part-time position. Accommodation can also be provided if needed.
