Data Analytics Specialist


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Data Analytics Specialist in Almada. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify trends and patterns that can help drive business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide insights and recommendations based on your findings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience with data analysis tools, and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. This is a part-time position without accommodation.

Salary: $1200 per month (based on full-time hours)

Location: Almada, Portugal (remote work may be considered)

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Develop methods for cleansing, transforming, and analyzing data
- Identify patterns and trends in data to provide insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with team members to understand their data needs
- Communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in data analytics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of statistical methods for data analysis
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
