Fitter - Industrial Maintenance Specialist

We are hiring experienced Fitters to join our growing team in Akron, Ohio. As a Fitter - Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in industrial maintenance and possess strong mechanical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery.
- Repair or replace faulty parts as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment performance.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
