Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes and customer requests
- Oversee all aspects of the pastry-making process from preparation to presentation
- Ensure all pastries are visually appealing and meet our quality standards
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and equipment needed for pastry production
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to create new dessert items that align with our menu offerings
- Follow food safety regulations at all times
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and create unique dessert items
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train junior staff
- Excellent time management skills
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen

Salary:
- Starting salary of $1100 per month, with potential for growth and bonuses
