Database Administrator


We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our team in Herzliya. This is a full time position, suitable for men of any nationality. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and securing our company's databases.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient database systems
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure data security and integrity
- Develop and maintain data backup and recovery plans
- Create and update database documentation
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate databases with applications
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as data purging and index rebuilding

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with database design principles, SQL, and data modeling tools
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g. AWS RDS)
- Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies for databases
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash)

Salary:
