Architectural Designer


We are seeking a skilled Architectural Designer to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing building plans and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your role will involve working closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that designs meet all necessary requirements and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use CAD software to create detailed building plans and blueprints
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and vision for the project
- Work closely with engineers and construction teams to ensure designs meet all necessary requirements and regulations
- Make adjustments to designs as needed based on client feedback or changes in project specifications
- Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends, materials, and building codes
- Visit project sites to monitor progress and provide guidance as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in architectural design
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp)
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects in the Akron area
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles
- Ability to speak multiple languages (especially Spanish) for effective communication with clients from diverse backgrounds

Salary: $1400 per month (part-time position)
Location: Akron, Ohio (candidates must have valid work permit/visa)
