Industrial Alpinist - Akron, Ohio


As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks at height in industrial settings such as construction sites, oil rigs, and wind turbines. You will use specialized equipment and techniques to access and work in difficult-to-reach areas, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all operations.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments before beginning work
- Set up and maintain ropes, anchors, and other equipment for safe access
- Perform tasks such as cleaning, painting, welding, and installation at height
- Communicate with team members via radio or hand signals
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Keep detailed records of work completed and any issues encountered

Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial alpinism or rope access is required
- Ability to work comfortably at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills for working effectively with team members

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
