Plumber (Part-Time)



We are in need of an experienced plumber to join our team in Funchal on a part-time basis. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial properties. Your duties will include reading blueprints, assessing plumbing needs, ordering materials, and completing necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a plumber and be knowledgeable about local plumbing codes. This is an urgent position with competitive pay of $1600 per month. No accommodation will be provided.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial properties
- Read blueprints to determine layout of plumbing systems
- Assess plumbing needs and order necessary materials
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely repairs
- Adhere to local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Communicate with clients to explain repairs needed and provide estimates for work
- Keep accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a plumber
- Knowledgeable about local plumbing codes
- Ability to read blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
