Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (Al Buraymi)
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at a bustling Indian restaurant in Al Buraymi. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for Indian cuisine and a proven track record of creating innovative and delicious dishes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$, and we are specifically looking for candidates of Indian nationality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new menu items, ensuring they meet the high standards and authenticity of Indian cuisine
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and mentor junior chefs to maintain consistency in food quality
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to ensure profitability
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef, with at least 3 years specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong communication skills for liaising with staff, suppliers, and customers
Preference will be given to candidates who are able to work part-time or on weekends, as well as students looking for part-time work. Accommodation is not provided for this position.
